placed adjacent to the symbol:

Ne = neon
Xe = xenon
Na = sodium vapour
Hg = mercury
I = iodine
IN = incandescent
EL = electroluminescent
ARC = arc
FL = fluorescent
IR = infra-red
UV = ultra-violet
LED = light emitting diode



Note (FR):
Si l'on désire préciser la couleur de la lampe,´on place, au voisinage du symbole, l'une des indications suivantes:

RD = rouge
YE = jaune
GN = vert
BU = bleu
WH = blanc

Si l'on désire préciser le type de la lampe, on place, au voisinage du symbole, l'une des
indications suivantes:

Ne = néon
Xe = xénon
Na = vapeur de sodium
