JP(HIKE): This comment is not for S00892, but for S001231 which is listed as an example of S00892; S01231 bears the same name as S00982, but it is for microwave which should be included in some fields of S01231. (Secretary's note: S01231 is correctly named "Converter, general symbol". It is not restricted to microwave applications. The problem is that S00898 is named converter as well. Seen in this context the name should better be "Conversion, general symbol". It is also classified as an attribute. The symbol is kept as it is, but the comment brought to a new change request C0024.)
JP(HIKE): For S00898, add "battery" to usage; should name be "cell", because it is for primary and secondary. This symbol is also used as d.c. power supply in general (which is not always a cell) in circuit diagram. If we distiguish with S01341 and S01342, we need another symbol number with the same graphics. (Secretary's note: The symbols cover three technically different concepts and should therefore be dealt with as such. The general use of the symbol for a d.c. supply should be considered, and the comment is therefore added to C0024. "Battery" is added to usage on S00898.)
FI(TAVI): I think it is too complicate is one symbol S00898 will be devided into tree concepts: S00898, S01341 and S01342. Insert for S00898 tree names and use also several keywords. (Secretary's note. See above.)
JP(HIKE): For S00890, add S00903 also to example(s). (Secretary's note: Not accepted. Misstake?)
JP(HIKE)+ DK(KATH): For S00901, add S00905 and S00907 to examples; I wonder if A00041 and A00042 are necessary. (Secreatary's note: Examples added. The notes may not be absolutely necessary, but they do not hurt.)
AT(WGAS): Symbols S01241 and S01242 are equal. (Secretary's note: They are graphically equal, but the concepts are different.)
DK(KATH): I think we need "generating power or providing power" as a function class specialy for symbols S00898 and S00903 - S00908, see also C00014. (See comment on C0014.)
DK(KATH): In symbol S00897 add arrows in the Shape class. (Secretary's note: Accepted.)
DK(KATH): In symbol S00899 add S00904 also to example(s). (Secretary's note: Accepted.)
DK(KATH): In symbol S00900 add S00903 also to example(s). (Secretary's note: Accepted.)
DK(KATH): In symbols S00905 and S00907 add S00901 also to example(s). (Secretary's note: Accepted.)
DK(KATH): Symbols S01341 and S01342 hasn't the right graphic, if changed add S00686 and S00908 to "is an example of". (Secretary's note: The graphic should be the same for all three symbols. S00686 should principally refer to S00899 (since it is one primary cell) and S00908 to S01342 (since it is likely to be a battery of primary and/or secondary cells).) |

Voting at validation: |
JP(HIKE): Symbols S00898, S00890, S00901: NO (see comments)
JP(HIKE): Symbols S00899, S00902...S01342: YES
AT(WGAS): Symbols S00892 - S00908 and S01341, S01342: Yes (see also comments)
DK(KATH)+ FI(TAVI): Symbols S00892 - S00908: Yes (see also comments).
DK(KATH)+ FI(TAVI): Symbols S01341 and S01342: No (see comments).
Result: The change request is approved with the modifications done. The symbols will be released. |
