The text of the note is fairly clear on its own, however, so we will have to live with it for the time being and then see if there are so many occurrences of the problem that we will have to find a better solution to it.)

Actually symbols S00673, ...674, ...676, ..677 and ..678 ought to have shorter channel connection lines since they are not externally accessible, and they had so in IEC 60617 Ed. 1. This is a drawing error in Ed.2 that has been corrected.)
