This change request proposes that the three existing application notes A00028, ..29, ..30 be replaced by either one or two new application notes explaining the terms "variability" and "adjustability", used in the names of a number of symbols.
Very strictly speaking these definitions are not application notes, as they only indirectly do say anything on how to apply the actual symbols, so an alternative would be to put the definitions as remarks to the symbols where they are relevant. However, this would mean repeating in a number of places, and would not highlight the difference between the two concepts.
So I suggest that we nevertheless introduce these explanations as ONE application note and redirect the links earlier made to A00028, ..29, ..30 to the new one. (The old application notes will be left in the database for archiving reasons, however, without any living links.)
The new application note is found in the database as A00261. Since it not yet linked, you have to pick it up via "Application notes" on the menu on the left-hand side to study it. (French speaking members, please comment on the French version.)
The term "inherent" disappears with the three mentioned notes so as a consequence this word should be deleted from the name of symbol S00083 and S00084.
The proposal to move symbols (02-03-06/-10/-12) S00086, ..90 and ..92 to the description column, i.e. to an application note can not be easily managed. It is therefore suggested to leave these symbols as they are.
