This change request contains three minor modifications:
"Delete" application note A00014, i.e. take away the links to it from S00059 ... S00063.
Delete "(bulb or tank)" and "Enclosure" from the names of symbols S00062 and S00063.
Delete "also" in the last line of A00019.

JP(HYAM): For the first modification, A00014 can not be deleted, because the proposal "Delete the last paragraph." by WG 1 is for 02-01-01/-02/-03 (S00059 ... S00061) not for S00062 and S00063, i.e. it is sufficient only to take away the A00014 links from S00059 ... S00061.
DE(RESC): I agree to the proposed changes and would prefer to handle them with the normal database procedure (that means the short procedure).
DK(KATH): I agree to the proposed changes and would prefer to handle them with the normal database procedure.
AT(WGAS): Agree to the proposal. Symbols S00061 and S00062 are equal in their shape (a circle).Could them be reunited into one Symbol with the name "object or enclosure" ? (Comment by the Secretary: For principle reasons - no. In the beginning of the design of the database there was a decision that the database contains concepts for which there is a graphical picture, and not graphical pictures which can have different meanings. As a consequence the graphical pictures can be duplicated in the database, and this is such a case. The basic concepts (object and enclosure) are not synonyms.)
Conclusion by the Secretary: The observation by JP(HYAM) is quite correct. The propsal is therefore reformulated as suggested: Do not delete A00014, but take away the links to S00059 ... S00061. With this modification the change request is submitted for validation. |
