The following changes are proposed based on the Task II proposals for IEC 60617-3. Proposals shown within parenthesis are suggested corrections that have already been carried out:
S00001 "Connection": Change the name to "Connection, general symbol".
(S00004 and S00005: The proposed changes are taken care of by CR 00057.)
(S00009: The letter n to be shown in italics in the figure. This has been corrected. It was also suggested that the number "10" in the example should be in italics, but "10" is not a variable and shall therefore not be shown in italics.)
S00024 and S00026: The letter n is suggested to be taken away from the drawing by Task II. Actually, there has to be two or more conductors for the symbols to be meaningful. On the other hand, the symbols do not contain neither the connection line nor the n per se. We have here the same phenomenon as in CR00026: The graphics does not distinguish clearly between the symbolized concept and its context: Therefore the following solutions are proposed:
-S00024: The symbolized concept is the "cross-over line" only. The rest of the graphics, i.e. the connection line and the indication of the number of conductors, is shown by a dotted line. The n is kept as part of the context.
-S00026: The symbolized concept is the "upsidedown T" at the bottom only. The rest of the graphics, i.e. the connection line and the indication of the number of conductors, is shown by a dotted line. The n is kept as part of the context.
S00029: "Conductor tap not interrupting the conductor": Change to "Junction not interrupting the conductor".
(S00034 and S00035: Replace the word "six" by "6" in the English version. This has been corrected.)

FI(TAVI): I agree to a simplified procedure. Is it so that in S00024 and S00026 old names will be retained?? (Secretary's comment: Yes, that is the intent. In S00024 the "interchange" symbol is the cross-over line, and in S00026 the "neutral point" is the bottom part only of the existing graphics.)
DE/RESC): I agree to a normal database procedure
