The following proposals are suggested based on the Task II proposal for IEC 60617-4.
(S000555 and S000567: Delete "general symbol" from the title. This propsal is not contained in this change request, it should be discussed in the committee, and if decided the term should be deleted everywhere in the database on one occation. Note that the term "general symbol" is explained in the general description of the database.)
Replace symbol S00569 with S01411. S01411 is based on document 3A/434/NP.
(Change of name of S00582 is already implemented.)
S00583 "Coil; Winding": Add a new application note: "The number of half-circles may be varied to suit the application."
I suggest that, until a decision is taken to omit "general symbol" from the some symbol names in general, that the name is changed to "Coil, general symbol; Winding, general symbol", for concistency reasons.
