General comments:

Comments at evaluation:

Submitted for evaluation 2001-12-13. Closing date for evaluation: 2002-01-25.

AT(WGAS): The symbols S00953, S00962, S00969, are still in use. They should not be withdrawed if there is no substitute in the database. (Secretary's comment: S00953 is form 2 of a symbol S00952, Symbol S00969 is replaced by S00970, so there are replacements in those cases. Furthermore, the withdrawn symbols will be kept as such in the database.)

DE(RESC): I agree to the proposals of CR 0078 with the strong exception, that both symbols S00969 and S00970 are still in use and must be kept in the standard. I suggest to use the normal data base procedure. (See above. I guess that the proposal is to keep S00970 as it is in the standard (but maybe withdrawn), and that a similar symbol with changed name should be introduced.)

FI(TAVI): For S00953, S00962, I agree with AT(WGAS). For the change of S00969 name and for the withdrawal of S00969, S00971, S00972, S00973 and S00974, I propose the extended procedure. There should always be some qualifying symbol (e.g. letter or number).
New name of S00975 is OK. (I suppose that the reference to S00969 should be S00970?)

DK(KATH): S00962...964 and S00969, 971 and 974 Disagree, the rest of the proposal agree.
Use the extended procedure.

Conclusion by the Secretary: The symbols S00962, S00963, S00964, S00969, S00970, S00971, S00974 together with a new symbol based on S00970, but with new name, will be submitted to the extended procedure, through a new CR. Please refer to C00081.
The proposals for the remaining symbols will be subject to normal validation by this CR.

(Original scope: S00918, S00947, S00948, S00949, S00950, S00953, S00955, S00957, S00958, S00962, S00963, S00964, S00969, S00970, S00971, S00974, S00975)
