Proposal:
Introduce symbols for some additional types of transformer: phase-shifting transformer, and bushing-type voltage and current measuring transformers.

a voltage transformer intended to supply indicating instruments, intergrating meters and similar apparatus (IEC 60044-2, ed. 1.0 (1997-02))

AT(WGAS): No. This Symbols could be createt by combinations of existing basic- symbols. There is no need to add new symblos to the database.

NO(ES): The proposed symbols S01837 and S01838 actually introduces a new qualifying symbol for phase-shifting. This symbol should be defined and the proposed symbol could then be added as an example of the use. The proposed symbol is not applying S00081 or S00082, but apply S00083 with some additions. No other objections.

DK(KATH): We agree with the NO-comments, further S01839 and S01840 applies S00879 not S00878. DK say extended procedure.

Conclusion by the Secretary 2005-09-12: The propsal is supported by a simple majority as well as the use of the normal procedure.

The comment from NO is relevant and a new symbol for "phase shifting" (S001846) will be added and the references modified accordingly.
The other application references for these two symbols are accordingly changed to the basic symbols for transformers.
