Introduce a new symbol for concept: camera
Reason:
In IEC 60617 DB there is no symbol for objects like camera in general or application-specific devices like CCTV camera which is also known as surveillance camera. Camera surveillance systems have been used for many years and now they become even more popular (with IP networking) but symbols for describe system components/device are not standardized. Therefore this concept “camera” should have at least one internationally standardized graphical symbol suitable for installation diagrams and overview diagrams. Keep in mind that there maybe need to have more symbols for other type of cameras for example “dome camera in CCTV system”
Therefore the FI NC propose to standardize a symbol for object: basic camera

FI(ARSI): FI NC support the proposal. Normal database procedure
AT(WGAS): AT NC supports Symbol S01887, with following proposal: The symbol could be shorter.
DE(RESC): DE NC supports the proposal. Normal database procedure
SE(TOHA): SE NC support the proposal. Normal database procedure
JP(HIKE): Agrees to follow the normal database procedure with the following comment:
Graphical appearance of camera should be aligned with the one in IEC 60417-5116. See attached file in GIF.

Secretary comment to the Validation team: I support the proposal from the JP NC. Due to a restriction (?) in the data base cannot an additional file be added to the proposed symbol, meaning that in the validation stage will just the previous symbol be shown at S01887.
However, please note in your voting at validation if you vote in favour of the previous proposal or the one from JP NC.
