Applies to:
S01445
Type of request:
Technical modification
Request status level:
Resolved
Proposal:
Introduce a new symbol for concept: Glass break detector
The symbol will replace the earlier proposed symbol for glass break detector, S00445
Reason:
This graphical symbol is for installation diagrams for presenting glass break detector (all types: acoustic, passive or active). It is combination of general symbol for detector, microphone and glass break.
The symbol for glass break detector was previously proposed by PT 30 (C00095) but the proposal process was not finalized. To continue the process MT 60617 were consulted.
Supported by MT 60617, the FI NC now propose to standardize a symbol for this concept with following details.
