This change request is part of MT 60617 recommendation to harmonize graphical symbol family "switches for installation diagrams" to make all titles, graphical presentations, descriptions, application notes to be consistent and help users of symbols to choose right symbols particular purpose.
Proposed graphical symbol applies IEC 61082-1 clause 7.1.2.3 simplified presentation.
During the preparation of this proposal MT 60617 was consulted.

FI(ARSI): FI NC support this change request with normal database procedure.
DE(RESC):DE NC does not support this CR. There is no additional value. If this CR would be released, then S 1906 should be withdrawn.
FR(LROG): FR NC supports with normal procedure
DK(KATH): DK NC support this change request with normal database procedure.
JP(HIKE): The Japanese National Committee for TC 3 supports this change request.
It may be processed in the the normal database procedure after considering the following comment.
This symbol should be useful if it has more than three flags. Then It should be written in remarks that the number "3" shall be replaced by the total number of single pole.
NO(ES): The NO NC may support this proposal, although it is of the opinion that the simplified method described in IEC 61082-1, clause 7.1.2.3.1 should not be applied within a symbil itself. In this case, it may make sense. Support the JP NC.
SE(PASV): SE supports normal procedure. Consider, however to move the stroke to the central circle.
CN(GUTI): CN NC support the proposal. Normal database procedure.

Secretary comment: The evaluation was closed with 5 votes for normal procedure and 2 against but also some relevant comments. The secretary recognized that the meaning of the symbol is not obvious and cannot be unambiguous described in an application note. Therefore the symbol will be set in dormant and remitted back to MT 60617 for reconsideration.
Correction:It was recognized that both S01908 (C0055) and S01909 can be consequently described as alternative forms to S01905 and S01906 respectively. An application note describing the priciple for using the symbol will be added and the symbol can be treated in normal procedure.

DK(KATH): If the symbol S01909 is an alternative to S01906 which symbol show 3 aktuators, then the meaning of the stroke here is neither the same as for S01908 nor what described in A00370.

Secretary comment: The validation was closed with five Yes votes and two No votes. The symbol will be released as standard
Regarding DK comment, note that the stroke and the number shall be understand as number of lines, which represent contact with an actuator. There is no reason to symbolize a contact with more than one actuator because such device is not typically used. It is noted that the application note A00370 is incorrect in this case. A00370 will be corrected
