Draft standard IEC 60728-114 ED1 have multiple figures where in form of diagram concept polarization control device is represented as graphical symbol. IEC 60617 don’t have qualifier for representing this function. TC 100 request to standardize graphical symbol for object polarization control device.

AT-NC (wost) is not in favour for this symbol. As depicted in IEC 60728-114 CDV, figure c.3 in chapter C.9.2, line 1010, the right angle is missing. The symbol used in the CDV would be good.
JP(HIKE): Japan is in favour of this CR together with the proposed graphical appearance.
FI(JUAL): FI NC is in favour of this CR.
CN-NC (GAOYM) is not in favour for this symbol. We believe that the current symbols cannot accurately represent their meanings. S01933 graphic symbols did not clearly indicate the direction of polarization and the classification of polarization.
SE (SAL): SE NC is in favour of this CR.
NO (GJERTSEN): In favour. No comments.

Since there are multiple comments for improvement, they should be worked by commenting a new CD in following classical procedure defined in Annex SK 3.2.1 classic procedure
