Proposal: |
The symbols representing switches for use in installation diagram should be treated in an additional evaluation. For best understanding of the functionality will the symbols be described all together. The final validation of the symbols will be done in specific change requests related to each new or changed symbol.

Reason: |
Some new proposed symbols for application in installation diagrams have not been possible to validate because the function of the symbols have been unclear for the validation team. For the reason to better describe the functionality have some descriptions, including references to symbols for circuit diagrams, been prepared. See attached descriptions.

HIKE(JP): JP NC is in opinion that this CR together with the relevant pending CR's should further be evaluated in Extended Database Procedure, immediately after the closing date of this CR.
RESC(DE): DE NC supports JP NC to continue with the extended data base procedure

Secretary comment: The CR was discussed at the TC 3 co-ordination meeting in Geneva. The meeting proposed that this CR and the related CR's shall be further evaluated in the extended database procedure as suggested by two of answers above. C00206 together with C00199-C00201, C00203-C00205 will therefore go to extended database procedure.
The Secretary will call for members to a new (or reawaken) PT60617 to prepare a committee draft.
Secretary comment 2011-02-08: TC 3 decided in its plenary meeting in Seattle not to open PT 60617 but to start a new team MT 60617. MT 60617 has discussed the CR's in it first meeting 2011-01-13--14 and decided to prepare the necessary CD's |

Secretary comment: The proposed symbols have been discussed in MT 60617 and circulated to the NCs in a extended process. Voting on the final symbol was closed 2013-01-11 by closing of document 3/1132/FDIS. The CR can be closed. |
